I'm just trying to do a simple recording from the microphone input on my computer and have a continous recording. What type of programs do such an easy task? I'm not looking for something complex, just somethign to record the Mic Volume. Any suggestions?

Windows has a basic sound recorder.

accessories>entertainment>sound recorder

Only problem with that is that it has only a 70 second option.

I need something that can go for as long as I want.
