Hi, i have a sound Blaster Audigy, and i was wondering if there is a way to record the radio from the output on my radio, there should be the right hardware, but is there a way to record it? From the "blue" connection on the back. I dont want to use the microphone to record, but if i have to, so be it. i want to radio to make a direct connection to the back of the sound blaster.

my radio is the Brookstone Wafer-Thin CD System.

Thank you.

Does your "radio" have line out jacks on it anywhere?

If so you just patch the "radio" into the line in on the sound card and start your recording software.

yeah, it does. Would you reccomend any software that could do that? I found one but it jsut recorded my mic.

The Creative wave studio software that came with your card is actually pretty decent.
You could also try freeware app called Audacity

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Remember to select the correct input in the recording mixer. ;)

Never used any of Creative's newish cards, the last one I had was the SBLive (not 5.1) I remember getting frustrated because I couldn't record line-in and use my Mic at the same time. Do the newer chips/cards allow this?
