Recommend Multi-Function Printers for Photos

I know for the best photo quality, dedicated dye sublimation is the way to go but I'm to sacrifice some quality for other functions (scanning, printing b&w and color documents). I've currently got a Canon MP210 and it just blows.

Any recommendations on a multi-function printer that can also print good photos - and not cost an arm and a leg for ink?
