My TT typhoon is a pain in the ass to remove and install just to get the right amount of thermal gunks (1 hour to remove the motherboard and crap). Recommend me a better cooler that snaps on and snaps off.

Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme with a quiet 120 mm fan - excellent performance and quiet to boot.

1. $70 is a bit too much for my price range (I can probably watercool the cpu for that price)

2. Looking at newegg, the clipping mechanism looks very similar to the big typhoons, are you sure it won't take me hours to reapply the damn thing?

You aren't going to get quality water cooling for that price. What are your goals with the cooling other than being easy to take on and off? (I dont understand that all that much since it isn't something that commonly is removed and reinstalled all that much) Are you overclocking or trying to have a silent pc for example?

I bought a tuniq tower (45 shipped from newegg) since it performed nearly identically to a TRUE according to the recent HSF roundup (hardocp of course).

get the thermaltake V1, awesome cooler and snaps in and out.

TT blue orb FX...

is relatively quiet, screws on and off (one on each side) and displays sound and temperature levels inside the case.
