Please
Just scored an X2 3800 with an ECS nforce4-A939 from Fry's for $279 - did not expect to get it so cheap and quick, thus I don't have a vid card for it yet. And it's going to be my main folder.
Needs so far are minor - on my Gateway server (the machine I use the most) I have existed since 2001 with a 4mb on board ATI solution until recently. Now I have a whopping 64Mb Radeon SE PCI. I'll probably swap that out if it works.
Anyways - I've had problems with older ECS motherboards and different cards, so I'm looking for a recommendation on something that's known to work.
Got to be under $100 and work, but that still leaves a pretty wide field.
Anyways - any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
