recommend 2.0 speakers

I'm building my PC back up this holiday and need some speakers. I want 2.0 speakers so that i can connect them to my pc and move them to my mac air when I watch shows with my gf on the sofa. They must be an improvement over the speakers in the mac air, I will probably buy from amazon uk. I don't mind needing to plug them in for power but I don't really want to bother with a sub. budget is £50.

Swans makes some really good 2.0 speakers. I'm not 100% certain they have a pair within your budget though. Worth a look I'd say.

For your budget and only looking at amazon.co.uk I would say these. Nothing too crazy, but it will be a huge increase in "loudness" and clarity.

Edifier R1600T Studio Plus 2.0 Monitors £49.99. £50 is a VERY tight budget but those should beat the cheap plastic crap that is Creative and Logitech.
