Reallocation event count

One of my HDs has a reallocation event count of 5 (raw). All other error counts are 0, including reallocated & pending sectors.

I just ran a full, 1-pass wipe, and no counts changed.

What does this tell me?
 
Did you full format the drive when you first received it? At work I have seen a few instances of pending sectors on never written sectors on new drives that go away after writing but don't increase the reallocated sectors from 0.
 
Honestly can't remember. I'm just wiping a bunch of old drives & figuring out which can be reused in unimportant roles.
