Introduction

A few months ago I had just started browsing plenty of the SFF forum and much of the 'consolization' of SFF gaming computers was very cool to watch. The typical 'steambox' form that many were converging on(for very sensible reasons) was just a bit too large - especially its depth. Think of the shape and hardware arrangement that is found on the following cases: Fractal Design Node 202; Silverstone RVZ01/RVZ02/ML07; Valve's Beta Steambox; SENTRY and NCASE 'LRPC.' All of these average nearly 13~14 inches in depth to accommodate long GPUS.

Because of the Emergence of the ITX GPU Form Factor, it seemed possible to cut down the depth of these machines to ~8 inches. I recognized the potential for a mod to the ML06 that would make this real. As of now I have next to zero case modding experience. I just figured I would just do some measuring, dremeling, riveting and whatnot. Then, a nice case mod would happen
