Has anyone tried to run the "Crowd" or "Ruby: The DoubleCross" demo or a radeon 9800XT instead of the X800 it says it needs to run?
 
I ran Ruby on my 9600Pro with 128 mb.
I used this wrapper: http://www.users.on.net/~triforce/ruby/
It makes Ruby work on all ATi's DX9 cards, everything from 9500 and up.
There are also wrappers for GeForce there.

I don't think there are wrappers for the Crowd demo. Haven't seen any around anyway.
