Reading SuperMicro VRM temperatures

Other than using an external temperature probe, is there a SW method to capture the temperatures of all the VRMs on the SuperMicro H8 series motherboards?
Seems the question was asked before but I could not find the thread.
Using Ubuntu 10.10.

I don't think so. This is an old post by sfield on temp sensors in the board. Nothing specific to VRMs though.

There is a VRM temp thread by sfield as well, but reading were from an IR thermometer.

IPMI is rubbish at it as well, plus I hate the way it says the CPU temps in general vague words rather than actual temps. I don't want to know the CPU is "warm" I want to know its TEMP!
