First of all, does anyone know if it suffers the same problem as the Audigy cards with nForce 4 motherboards? That makes those weird noises? Because my Audigy does that so I am currently using onboard.

Second, is it worth getting this, or any non onboard card when using Headphones? I'm using Creative Fatality headphones, which I like a lot, but I'm the farthest thing from an audiophile.

Will I be able to tell the difference? I mainly game on this computer, maybe watch a movie from time to time
 
I have one. bought it at the last woot deal for 70. its a great card and i think it sounds better than the audigy 1 it replaced. it uses that chip thats in a bunch of other cards, i doubt you will have issues with your nf4.

I also use it with a creative fatal1ty pro headset. Sounds fantastic.

i would not hessitate at all getting it for the current price of 50. Even if you miss todays deal. buy.com always has it for 60 with free shipping.
