Raysorm Pro question

Hey all, just picked up a Raystorm Pro for my new build, noticed something a bit odd

It is a little bit convex, I got it snd from PPC, so I took it apart to give it a cleaning, and noticed the base is perfectly flat when not assembled, but when I screw it all together, its a bit convex again, almost like the jet plate is causing the base to bend a bit when screwed together

Normal? Should I lap it before install on my new 6800k?

Sounds good, I'll be starting on it tonight. First new CPU block since my Koolance CPU-340 heh. It's been a good block, but I will NOT miss that mounting system..

That raystorm pro is an awesome block. I have it's older brother plain raystorm. It's one heck of a block and does a great job cooling. You will not be disappointed.

I've got it all up and running now, no pics as of yet. VERY impressed with the Raystorm Pro block, I coupled it with Hydronaut (what a PITA that stuff is to apply haha) and with a mild OC on stock volts I'm not getting over 43 after 4 hours of realbench.

Now I just need to figure out what to do about all my blue fans since the new mobo is black and yellow

Corsair SP120's on the top rad with the blue rings, and Thermaltake Riing's in blue in the basement 480
