hey does anyone out there own a ratpadgs?
if so, do you have any problems with your mouse moving sorta rough making ur mouse kinda "jump" in a first person shooter like counter strike?
is there any way to correct this problem, kuz its really annoying and on top of that, ive been banned from servers that think im "hacking" because some hack proggys out there kinda make your screen shake or some shit (acording to some ppl that play cs.

and another thing, has anyone found a way to make ur mouse glide better over the ratpadgs? i have a logitech mx900 and it moves slow as hell over it just because its a rough mousing surface.
anyone know of any waxes or cleaners i could use to make it glide better? ive heard pledge works wonders with it, or some teflon mouse skates.
any suggestions would be great.

get some teflon tape and a razer blade and cover the entire bottom of your mouse then use the razer cut out when the optial sensor and light are so its not affected by the slight opaqueness of the tape. should last 4-5 months then repeat that or just keep moving your mouse on the gs for a long time and the roughness weill wear down one side of mine is smooth like you wouldn't beleive the other half has barely ever been seen by my mouse so its still pristine.

I bought a roll of teflon tape for around $5. Much better than "mouse skates" and much, much cheaper.

For the ratpad, I use food grade silicon lubricant that is used in vending machines, and wash it with dish soap before every application.

try pledge wood cleaner stuff onthe ratpad, i put that on there back when i had my old cordless mouse, when i would walk away and come back the mouse was sitting on the desk cause it was so slippery it would slide right off the pad

I dropped my ratpads for my desk surface. The ratpadz eventually wear the feet off (especially if you game alot). The teflon tape should do fine if you want to keep the mouse pad.

The Ratpadz does suck. They're great when new, but after that they begin to suck. After six months of use it's worn out pretty bad in the middle area.

get a func surface or icemat. ive had my func for about 2 years or so, no sign of wear, and it is awesome. it replaced a ratpad I thought the ratpad sucked, so i gave it away to a family member that doesnt game much. Even an Everglide is better than the ratpad, and they are super cheap right now at gamerzstuff.com they have the giganta for 3.00 and the attack pad for 1.00 for that price you arent losing anything by tryin them out.
