Get 2x512mb memory so you have exact memory for duel channel and make sure you get the 90nm AMD chip and make sure the HD is SATA.

You need to buy some arctic cooler thermal paste for five dollars so you can say your comp cost 1337 dollars. heh

For games, it looks about as good as you're going to get on that budget. You mention you're going to upgrade to 1Gb as you'll ideally need to, but I have a couple of other suggestions you might consider if the budget will stretch:

- Get a 74Gb Raptor instead of the drive you've specified. Add another drive for storage later if you need one.
- Get an SLI mobo and a single 6800GT. Drop in a second GT later for a good upgrade (you might need a better PSU though).

SLI isn't everyone's cup of Darjeeling though, in which case stick with what you've picked.
