Ok guys, it takes a few seconds, just download Cpu-z, located here and take a screenshot of the CPU tab, post that, and post your whole system(How much memory, hdd, etc)

thats the standard bus speed and multiplier for that processor.
 
There's nothing abnormal about that, i think you were looking at bus speed instead of multiplier.. I forget exact numbers, it was what, 15 multiplier x 200 fsb?

15 x 200= 3.0 GHZ, but i think his was like 190 FSB so yeah, thatd equal 2.9 GHZ.
 
How do you guys get this working? First off, i don't touch the .ini. The result is SUPER tiny cursive writing, then i edit the .ini to be as it should be, still small cursive writing. All i can do is change the color///size of it, but its still very illegible, and it uses roman numerals instead of numbers.

For some reason CPU-Z calls it a clawhammer, but we all know that the 2800 was only Newcastle, and you can see there's only 512Kb L2 cache.
 
If I remember correctly, AMD used some of the failed Clawhammer cores with broken memory modules, and sold them as Newcastle cores.

Nice. Might explain why thats about the highest stable I can get, but I still think it's this soltek motherboard.

Now this is ghetto .. check out my latency ... I can be going for 3.8 or so if i had better cooling and better ram .. any donations are always accepted ... ;)
