"Random video" button?

(Please note, I've only extensively used MCE 2005 so if this is already integrated into Vista MCE, I couldn't locate it)

One of the issues my girlfriend and I have found with the HTPC is that even with its access to over 3TB of recorded TV shows and movies saved on the home server, we can never decide what to watch.
Its like we have become so dependent on the cable companies giving so few watchable choices at any given point that when faced with more options, well, we're left dumbfounded.

So I'm wondering if there is a kind of "random video" option (built-in or via plugin) that I'm just not seeing which might help us with this issue? Ideally what I envisioned would be an option off the video menu which would pick X number of files at random off the server and display them for selection.

Thoughts?

Hmm.. now I'm wondering if I could achieve this using just a simple script. Something like you run the script and it brings X random shortcuts from preset containers, run it again and it refreshes them.
