RAM holding me back?

Just wondering, but is my ram holding me back. I have Mushkin
lvl 1. PC3200 2-3-2-6, and it honestly doesn't overclock well at all. It would throttle down to 160mhz when I tried to get a 1:1 overclock. just wondering if I oc with a divider whether this ram is gonna stop me at >250FSB which is right around where RAM gets to 200mhz.

as long as your ram is running at 200mhz minimum..you are within its rated spec..anything above 200mhz you allready know is not gonna be promised...but as far as i can see....you sould be fine as long as your board and CPU can handle 250mhz

if you set the ram divider at 3/2 fsb/dram the ram would run at 167 if fsb = 250mhz then you would be way below rated speed for that ram so it shouldn't be the limiting factor 5/4 would be right on 200mhz for the ram if fsb = 250mhz
