Hey all,

Is it ok for 2 ram modules to be touching each other? The headspreaders are so thick that they are actually touching each other.

Any potential problems?

The heatspreaders aren't really doing anything but sitting there and looking pretty anyways. Its been proven they provide almost no cooling affects.

Yea every time i see RAM without them i'm like, man those sure look ghey lol. After you get used to something new its hard to go back to the way they were before.

That and if you remove 'em you're kissing your warranty bye-bye. I'd keep em on. If you're worried point a case fan at it, or use a temp probe to check the load temps.

Out of curiosity, what kind of board/ram is it?
