If I raise AGP Voltage through BIOS from 1.5 to 1.6 will it hurt my card at all? How much hotter will it make it run? Someone mentioned it as a fix for many artifact problems (which appear on even brand new or RMA'ed cards).

googled up "safe agp voltage raise" in google and hit i'm feeling lucky

edit - sometimes it bugs me peolpe use hardocp as their only resource.

Sometimes it bugs me how people are always bitching when people ask questions :p

As for the question, I know enough about computers to not be a noob, and I don't know too much about that setting.

I've heard that it doesn't really even help anything though.
But that's just what I know.

From what I heard a little while back, changing the voltage in the bios for agp does nothing but heat up your card, you have to do a volt mod to fix artifacts when overclocking and get good cooling with it.
