Raised, Chome Letters?

Anyone know anyplace to purchase rasied, chomed/brushed aluminum (looking) raised letters like you see used for automobile model name badges? Especially one that either specialized in short run production or who sells individual letters?

I'd considered settling on the name for my next project using a name already used by a car (Titan - Nissan, Magnum - Dodge, Topaz - Ford, Cayanne - Porche, etc) but I've sort of already picked a name that I'd like to stick with and would really love to be able to use those types of letters.
 
Theres all kinds of places that can make custom emblems (think about all the dealers that slap their emblems on cars they sell) I searched google for "custom emblem" and found a bunch of places that can do it.

If you posted the name, i might be able to tell you what emblems you could find at the junk yard and use letters from. e.g. i replaced my "volvo" emblem using 2 acura "vigor" emblems (the i in the vigor emblem is just a line that could be an L if the context was right).
 
I just made some letters like that for the duece project, this medallion in about the size of a silver dollar. Most dealerships sell the emblems and letter logos you could chop up. I have also seen letter sets made of plastic sold at home improvment stores in various sizes. Some craft stores might also sell prefab letter sets.

If you just need chrome vinyl letters, I can help you out. Or carbon fiber, or woodgrain, or holographic, or color changing. Heh.

Not really looking for decals for this part of the project, although another part of it will require decals (actually, printed decals, was planning on using PolyGFX for that part of it). Might have to keep you in mind though. :)

Basically, boostdemon, that's what I was hoping to find. Except that dealerships don't order one and be done with it. I don't need a stack of emblems laying around and couldn't afford the minimum a lot of the places that make them would charge.

I'd thought about finding a car with the correct letters in the wrong order but that would be a hell of a challenge (the name isn't that short). Also, from replacing the "INTREPID" name badge on the back of my car I remembered how wonderful it was to have the letters already spaced on a piece of backing paper instead of trying to calculate exact spacing.

Might have to try a craft store, hadn't thought of that. The hardware stores around here just sell vinyl decals.
