Hello,

I've heard some good reviews on the Raidmax Sagietta PSU but then some say not to use it....

I wish I could just get a final answer

Some say YES and some say NO
 
if you would have read the topic:"before making a post about a psu..."
you would notic that the raidmax psu's are on the blacklist...
but anyhow,if like your computer working,do not use the psu...
try to get a refund for it...
 
Some of the new Raidmaxes are OK because they're made by Topower instead of their older provider, Leadman. Unfortunately I don't know how to tell them apart, except for reading "TOP" on the big transformer inside.

regarding the question, IMO
its likely a suckers bet, even if they are "OK" supplies your likely overpaying for them
better to be conservative and go with "know good" high quality components than take a chance with the one component that if it is flakey can alternately fry everything else or worse slowly degrade components and cause intermittent hard to pin down issues
 
Went for this power supply based on good reviews and it was posted on another thread for this to be a great power supply
