Alrighty, I have a quick question for you guys. I currently have a 120g Corsair Force 3 SSD, and I LOVE the performance boost I got from it. Now, the question is, should I spend about $180 (AR) on two 90g of the same SSD and run them in RAID 0 or should I just stick with my 120g (I would otherwise give it to my fiance's rig). Any suggestions? Would I notice a difference aside from the increased storage? I don't do much else other than game on my computer.

Stick with the single unless you need space or want to be a benchmark king.
 
I used to run a RAID 0 SSD setup, mostly for space reasons. It certainly benches faster, but for daily use the speed difference is not noticeable at all.
 
I guess then the next question would be.. should I still get a single 90g ssd for my fiance's computer? lol.

Think that 90gb will be enough for OS + World of Warcraft + MS Office?
 
Consider you need a solid 40GB just for Windows 7 (Win7 with all updates, .net frameworks, etc is roughly 20-25GB - plus pagefile, hiberfil etc 40GB is a safe number) - WOW is probably roughly 20GB with all updates (really guessing here), so that leaves you with 30GB for everything else. Office will only take around 1.5GB of space, so just to be on the safe side that leaves you with 20-30GB of data storage. Considering the fact that you can get netflix, hulu, music.google.com, amazon services you really have less need for offline storage if you are pretty much always connected. I think as long as there aren't very large collections of documents saved 90GB would be plenty.

Probably. I just got a new SSD and it's taking 45GB for the OS + Office + Visual Studio / Eclipse + a couple of games (Batman Arkham City and World of Tanks). Make sure you turn off Hibernation to save on disk space.
 
Totally depends on usage. Sequentials is where RAID0 shines. If you need massive sequentials, of course RAID0 is a good idea.
 
Any usage where you need 500mb/s as opposed to 250mb/s you'd fill up that array in 6 minutes. If you need massive sequential performance you'd get an 4+ drive RAID array of spinners.
