raid drives going down constantly..wtf?

I have this problem on my A8n mobo where my computer hard locks up about once a day, and when it reboots, one of my raptor drives is undetected on the raid controller, and that's the drive windows is on, so it won't load windows. So i go in and unplug the sata data cable from both ports and then plug them back in, or unplug and replug the sata power cables from the drives, and reboot, and it detects it again, and works perfectly. I'm just getting sick of it happening like once a day. Anybody have any suggestions?
