RAID card and USB problem

I just got a Promise SuperTrak EX8350 SATA RAID card to solve a problem I had with the onboard NV RAID. After working past a problem with the A8N32-SLI's heat pipe and getting the card installed into the PCI-E x4 slot, it would no longer find my USB devices. The BIOS will report no USB Keyboard/Mouse with the card installed in either the x4 slot or the second x16 slot when I removed one of the video cards. Checking the Device Manager in Windows my Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller is listed as not working because it's not started, but gives nothing else.

System specs are in my sig. Anybody have any ideas what's going on here?
