I am moving my RAID 1 array from a system with an Asus A8V deluxe mobo into another one with a new Asus A8V deluxe mobo (don't ask why). Will the new mobo recognize the RAID array? Anything else that I may need to do besides enabling RAID 1 in the new mobo BIOS?

Should work ok, as long as you are moving to the same make/model/BIOS version RAID controller, which is the key thing for successfully moving a RAID array.

Also with RAID 1 you can always break the mirror and reestablish it if nothing else (as both drives have a copy of the data) RAID 0 on the other hand can be fun to try to move.
