Hi,

I have not received the card yet, but I'm in the process of trading for a 3ware Raid PCI-e card.

Anyway, I want to Raid-0 two Wester Digital 150GB SATA2 drives and backup (weekly or bi-weekly) to a Seagate 400GB Sata2 (not attached to the Raid controller). What is the best software to capture the entire partition of the Raid-0 devices and create an ISO, or some other image format, that could be used in restoring in case of failure.

Creating an image is not much of a priority, but I'd imagine it would less complicate the matter.

Thanks!

DriveImage XML is probably a good choice. You can use Windows Scheduled Tasks to have it to an automatic backup once a week.

Why not just use the built in windows backup software?

As long as you use windows you'll have the software and you can do any kind of backup you would need with it.

Thanks, DriveImage XML looks like the best bet. I want to store it on a remote system on the LAN, this looks like it can do it :)
