Raid 0 for raptors

I have a 74GB Raptor, and want to get another one to put them in raid. I don't have the model #'s here, but I would be buying a newer model Raptor than the one I have. Does that matter for Raid?

With that setup do I get the capacity of both drives, so it acts like one 148GB drive, or do I just get the 74GB?

Doesn't matter between the models ( at least nothing significant, unless one newer model is completely anti-RAID ) all you need is for it to be the same size.
