This could be a strange question, but i recently went triple screen using SoftTH and have my old 9600GT card as the secondary card for the other two monitors. I just let Win7 automatically detect and it and get it running and has worked perfect so far for gaming. My primary is a 1GB 6870.

I did not expect this, but F@H instantly picked up on the second card and tried to start a new WU on it, but it can't use it because i don't have the drivers installed for it. Actually, it specifically complains that nvcuda.dll is missing.

Long story, but does anyone know if i could get away with installing the nvidia drivers to get it to fold properly? Will this just wreak havoc on my machine? Will i just end up with my own personal UFC death match taking place inside my box? I'd rather know from somebody who may have tried it than be a guinea pig. Thanks! :D

It will work fine with Windows 7. It wouldn't work if you had Vista, because it used the initial implementation of WDDM, which only allowed one type of video driver at a time. So, Nvidia OR ATI, not both. Couldn't do ATI with hacked PHSYX drivers to have ATI for 3d and an nvidia card for physx. Works in windows 7 though, I've done it. :)

Perfect. Thanks for the responses. I'm a big geek anyway and can't help but mess with a perfectly running rig, so i went ahead and tried it anyway before i even came back here to see if anyone replied. Running great! Didn't know about the Physx thing... i'll need to look into that! Thanks!
