Radeon HD 6970 TIM problems...

When mining you don't have to run your memory at high speed just fyi, only your cores :)
 
so i ordered some 0.5mm thermal pads, even specified "make sure they are 0.5mm please"... guess what... i noticed when i was installing them that my PCB was bowing AGAIN... and the packing slip says 1mm. :(
