I am becoming a fan of AMD's new RDNA architecture.
And over the last 3 months I have found a good many sources, forums, & videos discussing AMD's new RDNA architecture. Many too technical for the average Joe, but informative non the less. And in personal review, I had not come across any negative, or drawbacks from RDNA's architecture. Sure there are driver issues, but this discussion isn't about cards, but about RDNA architecture itself. Along with questioning how well does RDNA architecture scale.
Radeon DNA whitepapers.
For reference:
Navi10 RDNA(1) @ 251mm^2 = 40 CUs.
