Well I got one of these cheap cards because it was just that cheap. Haven't got the cash to get a 6800gt right now, so I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to softmod this into something better. Or if there was anything I could do to get some better speeds out of it. I can run most games at medium quality with no probs.I don't play Doom 3 or HL 2, so no worries there.
 
I'm curious about this card as well. Is it related to the radeon 9550 that was made for the chinese market or is it related to the 9000 or 9200 card? I'll go google in a minute, but I just wanted to note my interest.
 
softmod? no. overclock? yes. worth it? probably not.

That's a 64-bit memory card, right? I'd take/send it back if I were you, even with a restocking fee. There are better options (used) in the same price range.

Yeah it is junk. I may slap a fan on it and overclock it as high as I can. Wasn't sure if this was one of those cards that you can oc and softmod to make it worth something.
