My 2nd monitor has a strange problem when I move my mouse, or when my hard drive loads the screen looks like it refreshes in
reverse creating a shaking display. The problem also happens when Winamp is running. Also in Neverwinter Nights with Cataylst 4.1 my display looks like someone applied a noise
filter to the whole screen. Is the 2nd monitor issue possiably from not having a high enough RAMDAC to display correctly? I have
2 19" crts, one a NEC 950+ and a ViewSonic P95+ both are running at 1280x968 at 85mhz.

When I got my AIW 9600 Pro.. I experimented with my system before I did a complete system reformat and install. I deleted the Older (3.8? catalysts) and shut down, plugged in my 9600, and rebooted. After installing the 4.1's .. I got all KINDS of color and artifact problems... everything looked like complete crap. I then did the complete system reformat, reinstalling all my cards and periferals in steps.. . I had a few problems.. but I've fixed them all and things are working smoothly.

Perhaps your uninstall of the older drivers wasnt enough? There are a couple of great programs for cleaning out your registry and removing old files.. might want to give that a shot and try again?

Yeah I'll give it a try. Those 4.1s sure did suck. What would be a good program to clean out the registery? I always use regclean

I use Norton Systemworks to make sure everything is perfect, then Ace Utilities, then Norton to doublecheck & defrag.
