R600 news

^ what happens if i wanna play oblivion on my 5600? So i should just keep it and live wih it until it dies? What happens if i wanna play fear above 10 fps? (some is make belive some is not, i bought oblivion for my 360 because i knew my pc couldn't handle it, but i bought fear and it turns out it runs very bad on my pc)
 
If the successor to the 1900xtx is the last DX9 offering from ATI and if it is at all faster then it will indeed be the "fastest DX9 card in history". That's assuming the R600 is only DX9 and will be the last of that type. It's tricky wording since the R600 is suppose to support DX10 as well as previous versions of DX. Therefore the statement would be BS because future cards are going to be DX9 backward compatible for a time to come. So wouldnt every coming successor be the "fastest in history"? PR statements suck.
