so i just called qwest to order internet for next week and the guy says, "we are at capacity in your area."

so i called back and talked to someone else, same thing.

???

(i'm in minneapolis, btw)

(is this an appropriate place to post this?)

They may be at the max compacity for overbooking in your area, not much anyone can do about it, they have to expand their service

any wireless internets providers in the area?? you could just buy a cellular card router and go that route, it'll cost you though.....

uptown; yeah i'll look for indies; there's usi wireless = fail

there's only two indies in my area according to dslreports, i'll call them today

bhi is one that showed up on dslreports, i'll look into visi -- thanks for the tip ;)

edit: visi just refers me to qwest or frontier :(

Try getting your neighbors to dump thier connections ;) But you really don't want to be there anyways since they are already overselling it.

i know how you feel man, personally i'm waiting for quest fiber to come west of the city. for now you might just have to deal with crapcast, i do :(

*sigh* i called bhi and they use qwest ... i call qwest and they are back in stock i guess. my internet will arrive in the mail later next week.
