Quieting a coolermaster stacker case?

Hello,
I've had a stacker for about a year now, and recently the level of sound coming from it has been getting on my nerves...

What can i do to lower the amount of noice coming from it?

The case itself isn't any louder than most cases, but can become very loud depending on the fans you use.

I would switch to quiet oriented cooling products. switch out your case fans for some of the Scythe S-Flex D or E (800rpm, 1200rpm respectively). Change out your cpu cooler or if you can just change the fan (depends on you HSF). The fan on the graphics card can also be changed out for a quieter solution (depending on the card). After all this, your case will be realtively quiet or at least bearable.

For me, the sound doesn't bother me unless is some sort of mechanical whining sound. For the most part, the noise my computer puts out is the noise of air moving which I can handle. Ultimately, the stacker was built for air cooling so that you have the option of better OC.

get some closed cell foam for the floor, cut a window into the side (with a jigsaw) and buy a sheet of acrylic/plexy (seal with silicone). That should drop it about 6db. I really need to take a pic...

IMO the origional stacker was Build for LIQUID cooling other than the crappy mesh sidepanel.

I think I'm going to use a piece of plexy to seal off the holes on the right side as well just have not got around to it yet. The light excaping fromt hem bothers me, but I have quite an extravagent 6Watt's of Royal Blue LED's in there heh.
