Quietest Fan?

Soon to purchase an Asus A8N-E, and probably going to take off the cheapo chipset fan that comes with it and stick a zallman heatsink there. Probably not going to be doing much overclocking (ok, maybe a teeensy bit) BUT, i have heard people hanging a case fan, and blowing a little air on the zallman, just to get some better temps and be on the safe side.

SO, what's a GOOD, quiet fan that i can use?

id recommend the panaflo L1a or the vantec stealth.

Are you looking for a 40mm chipset fan? There are no quiet 40mm fans in my experience.
Panaflo L1A 80mm is silent at 5v, damn near silent at 7v.

The Vantec Stealths are very clicky, I would not recommend them.
Nexus fans are some of the best you can get. The Nexus 120mm is silent at 6v.
For a cheap fan ($8 shipped at 2coolshopping), the Thermaltake (gasp!) Thunderblade 120mm at 5v is damn near silent (emits a low frequency hum from the fan blades thats hardly ever noticible).

i think thats what hes getting, but then hes gonna blow some air over it by hanging the fan. these nf4 chips dont run that cool. i know mine likes to hang in the upper 40s.

My panaflow is ultra quiet, the stealths in my case are even noisier than it.

I have a Swifttech MCX159 running fanless, and it is cool to the touch. 40mm fans are loud IMO, try running it fanless first. Chipset temps can get fairly high and still be stable in my experience.
