quietest fan

I think that on paper Silenx's fans would take the cake. I don't have any experience with them though so they could of embellished their numbers. Should look into their products though.
 
SilenX is a significant improvement over vantec stealth, on top of that most of the silenx lines have a higher or matching cfm with 2/3 the noise.
 
Silenx or the other company whose name I cannot remember and it is killing me. Be advised though, these fans cost a pretty penny.

edit: The quietest is of course water cooling.
 
I assume that you mean quiet performance fan. There are a number of fans that are quiet - because they don't push any air. My personal experience with SilenX is that they are very good quiet performers, both on paper and in the real world. You won't go wrong with them.
