Quiet Xeon Cooling

I just built a 3.06 Xeon workstation for a friend, but he's complaining that it sounds like a Leer Jet. His problem is definately the stock cooler from Intel, since all the other fans are low noise 21mm. It's not quite as loud as some of the other coolers I've had, but it is pretty loud.

This is the first time I've dealt with a Xeon, or even an Intel chip (AMD fanboy...), so I'm not sure what to look for. I dug up an article on Google that says the Coolermaster Hyper 6 KHC-V81 can be used on Xeon systems, but CM's website makes no mention of Xeons.

Any thoughts? I'm game for heatpipe or quiet air coolers. I don't have the time or money for water or peltier cooling.
