Hey guys, I'm looking for a pretty silent power supply, or as close as I can get.

I currently have a C2D 2.4ghz, 2gb ram, 7900GTS, 4 hard drives installed. I dont' need a lot of power I know, currently using a 650 or 680 antec neo, however it seems to be getting pretty loud. I just swapped to a Antec p182 case, and everything is downright awesome except the noise coming from the PSU.

Any suggestions? I'd like to keep it at $120 and under. I can always go higher, don't get me wrong.

TIA.

I'd go with a Corsair HX520 or VX450, or a 120mm fan equipped Seasonic. All pricing being the same though, I'd go the corsair route, for a better warranty and customer support.

Ha, I thought my PCP&C answer might get an LOL.

But seriously, the 750 quad is just as quiet as my HX620, and my Toughpower 850. Perhaps none are stressed in my systems, therefore, all three are quiet; I don't know. I never hear any of them, even over my quiet case and cpu fans.

Just because the name says silencer doesn't really mean it is silent

Here are some fanless power supplies, but I'm not sure how good they are. I'm sure they aren't all that efficient though since they must get pretty hot.

I would go for the Corsair HX620. I can't even hear it when it run, it's also modular which cut down on cable clutter a lot. I know it cost more then $120, but it well worth an investment since it will last you longer then a cheap PSU.
