I'm looking to build a quiet/silent office PC mid-tower case. I'm thinking i7 CPU and a fan-less GPU card. Probably the most intensive activity would be HD video editing.

The cases I've identified in no particular order are;

Fractal R4
Gigabyte Cupio 6140
Corsair 550D
Antec P280

Any opinion on these cases is welcome. Other options too. Personal experiences preferred.

I'd suggest the R4 or the P280. The P280 has more fans stock so cools better but the R4 is quieter as it only comes with 2 fans.

The fractal r4 is a heavy case(from the sound insulation and steel frame), and weighs 25lbs by itself with nothing in it. It's a great case, but not one you will want to move often. Love mine.

I have system in a Fractal R4 and it's an average case. Yes it is quiet, but I was rather disappointed with the quantity of the plastics used throughout. Meanwhile my Corsair 900D is a tank. Well designed, heavy and quiet. I'd recommend the 550D anyday over the Fractal R4.
