This question will require more than a "quick" answer.

........better for what application? Better in what regard? Be more specific and you'll get better answers.

Cheers - B.B.S.

its not 4 myself :/
i had a project in school it said take a side and tell why u picked that side

Do you know what the differences are?

Do you understand what applications would favor one over the other, and why?

Do you understand that there's more to a computer than a CPU (motherboard chipset, etc.)....??

IMHO - you should dig in a little, do some research, gain some knowledge, and then ask questions....rather than ask to be fed the answers. You may find that folks on these pages aren't going to be to real anxious to do your homework for you.....

I dont?

Unless you like your computer to also heat your room

in all honesty, at this point in time, Intel < AMD
they swap places often, but right now, AMD is better. It ties Intel in most multimedia and suprasses it in games. It makes less heat, and usually costs less as well.

One could argue that the 21w Pentium M outshines the A64 in most of the above criteria ...

I'd reccomend instead of asking us to do your homework go out and google search a few articles related to both and come up with your own conclusions

lol, your school must be retarded to ask a question like that

Its not a question of which is better, one's not better than another. You could be comparing a celeron 633 and a FX55, in that case it doesn't take a genious to tell you which is better. MHZ for MHZ, AMD beats the shit out of intel any day, but If you compare price/performance its really up to you.

the quality of threads just took a nosedive.

Mod Edit - Off topic; If I've missed something, let me know....B.B.S.
