Quick Voltage Question

When overclocking and finding it hard to stabilize, by how much do you increase your voltage at a time?

Also, I keep getting memory dumps when I overclock, is that due to bad ram or what?
 
k sys dumps is due to instablity of the sys. As far as voltage go do it one little step at a time. i.e. .25 or .50 whichever ur mb allows

That's true insofar as voltage bumps go...you're always better off w/ the best oc @ the lowest possible voltage...it's a matter of trial and error. As far as your mem dumps, you should 1st dl MemTest86 & Windows Memory Diagnostic (if u want a second mem test):

You can create either a bootable floppy or dl an ISO to make a bootable cd, as both run in DOS mode. W/ the Win. Mem. Diag. choose the Extended tests. Both should pass several times w/ ZERO errors. If not then you can try upping the VDIMM &/or loosening the timings on your ram.

heat is the real factor, just watch your temps...

what kind of hsf do you have? you shouldn't have too much of a problem running up to 2.0v with a good heatsink, atleast I haven't...
