Quick RAID question

I have 1 74GB Raptor which has OS on it and i have 2 250GB Caviar SE for storage. Is it possible to have them Raid 1 and to have Raptor as IDE? because its 3 drives not 4.

If yes how?

If no and yes i think on other controller right? not the Intel's ICH8R yes?

Depends on your motherboard, assuming that you do not want an add-in card.

If yes how?

putting on separate SATA controllers would work. My Gigabyte DS4, for example, has two ports from a JMicron controller and six ports from Intel's ICH8r controller. The JMicron controller has a RAID-1 array composed of two Seagate harddrives. These are used for my Windows install. The ICH8R's ports could be used in IDE mode, if I had wanted to.
