Hi,
I've been reading and I don't think I've come across this yet. How does the Pentium D compare to the Core Duo(Yonah)? I know Yonah holds itself pretty well with the x2 3800, but how 'bout with the Pentium D?

Edit: One more question, would Merom CPUs work with all Yonah boards, or only the ones with 945 chipset? Another thing is that yonah has 479 pin I believe, but in the FAQ, it says Merom has 478. But googling around, they say Merom has 479 pin....so do they come in two flavours?
