Quick question on typos

I'll sometimes come across typos in a review piece and post them to the comments section of the article. This is kind of off-topic for those threads, and I'd prefer not to leave them there. Also, sometimes they don't get seen (The Dying Light review, for instance)

If I PM KB or, say, Brent with the typo FYI, is it more likely to be seen (and less able to clutter the main article thread)?

Yes. I would prefer it that way actually. But folks seem to like to "stick it to you" in public. No biggy though, we try to correct what we see and edit the post with fixed note. It just sucks when it derails a thread however.

I wish all of us were English majors, but we are not. And often times I am editing documents that are 5,000 words long for both content, data precision, and then grammar and spelling. Then there are a lot of times where I am editing my own input, and you know how well that always goes.

The bottom line is we can correct the English and grammar stuff easily. Making sure all the data is right is a huge PITA.

As a lawyer, it just sticks out to me sometimes, and I know you guys appreciate the extra pair of eyes. I'm glad to help.

We are HUGELY thankful for when you guys point things out that are FUBAR. While I do not always like the format of delivery, I am glad to get it any way I can.
