I've got a system that has a Celeron 800 in it. i815e chipset

next week, I'm getting another system with a Pentium 3 800eb in it. i810e chipset

I plan on pulling the P3 and putting it in the Celeron system, and putting the celeron in the P3 system (and getting rid of it)

Now, the question is...

If I have the a CPU that runs at 133FSB, and RAM in it that runs at 100FSB, will they run at full speeds?


Or would the CPU clock down to 600mhz (100fsb)?
 
I believe the 815E/EP had an option to set the memory at 133Mhz (1/1) or 100Mhz (4/3) when the FSB is set to 133Mhz. Least all my 815 boards worked like that. If the memory in that Celeron system is PC133 then there's no reason using the 100 setting for the RAM. Whatever the case there should be no reason you can't run your P3 at full speed.
