At this point I'm leaning towards getting the 2001FP from Dell. I would like to hear your comments on that model. I do have a question though. When you play games at say 1024x768 resolution on a lcd screen that is 1600x1200 what exactly happens? Does it make the screen look blurry?

Thanks

From what I've heard yes, but the Dell seems to do a good job at lower resolution. Do a search in the forums , cause it has been mentioned before.

I just went through this whole process, and for me it was between the 2001FP or the viewsonic VP201b. I ended up with the VP201b, you should read all the pages of the VP201b review as many of us have picked it up as of late and have had no problems and love the monitor.

I ended up purchasing a used 21" crt in great condition. I do not think im ready for LCD just yet. I'll probably wait for the new generation and see what happens.

Thanks

I don't notice any extra blurriness when I'm at lower resolutions with my 2001fp. Comparing this to my older sharp t1d1h(something like that) 19" lcd, it's a great upgrade.
