does HyperThreading make your computer think that it has two processors? if it does ive never noticed that before...If it doesnt how do you fix a computer that thinks it has two processors :)
 
It does show up as two CPU's. One is logical and the other is physical. It is totally normal.
 
HyperThreading partitions the processor into 2 logical CPUs.

When you look at the system with device manager or Sandra, ACPI will report 2 logical processors. You don't "fix" this. It is normal behavior.
