It's been running for 20 minutes on the 'find max memory' and hasn't shown any errors. It's been running at temps from around 80-89 degrees the whole time and it hasn't stopped yet. Should I let it keep running or is it not even doing anything?

I think the consensus is that those "find best speed" options don't ever work right. Just increase the speed yourself using the sliders until you start getting errors. Then you can back it off some and be happy.

quick question ... playing around with my new machine ... its a quadcore, 4 gigs of memory, windows vista 64-bit ... anyways, decided to open up device manager and i got an error on the first item which is "ATITool Utility" ... this is the device status:

"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available."

anyways, my cousin rigged my machine and i believe this is an overclocking application. do i need to worry about this? should i resolve it? can i disable it and remove it from this list? what should i do ... thanks for any help.

It is the device driver for the AtiTool program, which is an overclocking tool for video cards. I'm not sure if it works with Vista, which might be why you have an error there. If you aren't overclocking the video card, you can uninstall the program or just disable the driver with no ill effects.
