Have there been any tests conducted in dx10 between the x2900xt and the 8800gtx?...

if i have correctly interpreted people's views here, pre launch, the new set of ati cards are supposed to provide better dx10 performance than te 8800gtx, whereas the 8800gtx would have better dx9 performance?...

just a question

p.s. i dont think ill be buying any cards, seeing as ive quit gaming...just wanted to keep myself updated on the current hardware:)

Thnx
Mayhs

edit: put 6600 instead of 8800:p (i dnt think the 6600 would have any chance of touching these cards' performance;))

Call of Jurez (sp?) and Lost Planet are both DX10, but Lost Planet is a console port, and I think there is some problem with CoJ as well.

There have been none.

Lol misinformed eh? Lost planet and CoJ DX10 have been tested.

Also.. this news of 1 card being good at dx9 and 1 being good at dx10 is total bull lol. The more powerful card is the more powerful card.. period. And that card is the 8800 GTX (and 8800GTS)

alright thnx people...

i guess ati/amd dropped the ball big time on this
